Well the snow in Breck is certainly “low tide” but it is awesome how less than optimal conditions and time (for me — very thankful) has driven the bells to explore the mountains, vistas and awesome beauty of Breckenridge and the blue river valley. Next time you visit Breck perhaps take a day to get on the snowshoes and pick one of the many winter trails…
Here was another hike — had some awesome (and beautiful) company (Lucia and our friend Amy) along with my buddy Chris. Trailhead was 5 min from our house…
Cool hike..minutes from town Lucky me 🙂
Was a great time hiking beautiful trails with the best of friends!
For sure buddy…I am going through Burg withdrawl
Oh Brian! I’m loving your blog! I agree, while skiing down the mountains is such a thrill, snowshoeing is a spell activity. It’s quiet and slow so you can really take in all the details of such a spectacular environment. We’ve done some snowshoeing in Colorado to huts where you can spend the night or several for that matter. One even had a sauna!! You can just imagine what Tommy did there😉
Thanks for sharing your adventure with us!!
I can only imagine! Funny Bridget
